Spandan School for Mentally Challenged
As a part of making individuals with intellectual disability (IID) an able part of society, Spandan School for Mentally Challenged was incorporated in 1975 by The Banyan City Jaycees Education Trust. What started as a small institution with 12 children has now grown, in 48 years, into an integrated facility covering the needs of approximately 200 individuals with Cerebral Palsy, Downs Syndrome, Autism, Intellectual Disability and many more. We aim to provide an education system combined with various therapies such as speech & communication, physiotherapy, occupational therapy and sensory integration therapy to all individuals that are enrolled within the institution from time to time. Spandan also strives to makes adult individuals groomed and self- reliant to be able to find jobs and earn a livelihood in local industrial settings.
United Way of Baroda
United Way of Baroda is a non-profit organization with a mission to serve as a catalyst by providing opportunities for Optimal Health, Quality Education, Income stability, Sustainable Environment, and Social Inclusion, especially for the vulnerable and less privileged community of Gujarat. The organization has been working towards holistic and systematic interventions that lead to sustainable impact within communities through our various projects for the last 35 years in the state of Gujarat.
Project 1: Orphan, Destitute & Single-Parent Project:
Educational kit comprises of School Bag, Water bottle, Lunch box, Notebooks, Fullscape, and stationery items such as a geometry box, compass box, scale, pencil box, pens, colours etc.
Project 2: Anagnwadi in near by village.
FAIRFAX INDIA CHARITABLE FOUNDATION
Works towards Developing a high impact, holistic, sustainable and collaborative ecosystem that offers free/ affordable, quality dialysis services to renal patients in parts of India where there is limited dialysis infrastructure. Projects are executed & managed via a unique Public Private Partnership (PPP) model that harnesses Government infrastructure, Private sector expertise & Financial support from Corporates.
Also, undertaken by the foundation are projects like; donating ICU equipment to Army hospitals, Access to primary healthcare at rural India, Covid care initiatives, repair and reconstruction of orphanage schools & supporting Swachh Bharat Abhiyan.
Rachana Trust:
The aim if this trust to enable Adivasi (tribal) children, into main stream working environment and hence id dedicated to Educational activity for the Adivasi Students, Creating a Library, Reading Room and Class room furniture. .The trust also engages in providing clean and hygienic hostel facilities the students.
